Gabriel Pereira das Neves is an Uruguayan pastor, writer and conference speaker, who currently serves at Portugal, as a Missionary of the Apostolic Assembly of the Faith in Christ Jesus, a oneness-pentecostal church present in more than thirty countries worldwide.
In the secular field, he works between 1989 and 2008 in Uruguay, as a teacher of computer science and programming, computers technologist and accounting administrator.
In the way of God, he was baptized in the name of Jesus Christ in 1984, in his native city, Salto, at the age of twelve. Since 1987, he served as a youth leader and music; locally and nationally. In 1996 he was ordained to the apostolic ministry and in 1998, being newly married, he planted a church in the town of Dolores, 180 miles from Montevideo. That year he was also appointed by the Board of Uruguay as National Secretary of Christian Education and director of the National Apostolic Bible College.
Since 1999, he published the news magazine called Good News. Also he compiled the apostolic hymnal "Ríos de alabanza". Pastor Gabriel wrote many bible school books, books of apostolic doctrine, discipleship, evangelism, leadership and administration; also seminars for ministers and deacons, lesson books for friendship groups (cells) now circulating in many countries, and so on. The pastor Gabriel works editing books of other writers too.
After serving as a Pastor in his country for eleven years, Gabriel Pereira das Neves was sent in 2008 as a missionary to Colombia, a role he held until December of 2016.
Currently, Pastor Gabriel is the pioneer missionary of the Apostolic Assembly in the Portuguese Republic, where he resides with his wife Isabel and their boys, Esteban, Ezequiel and Manuel.
